and so we had our dinner @ the famous gurney drive.



was there a gazillion years ago.....i think it shrunk? or mayb i've grown bigger.

but, overall, the abc and rojak was worth the trip there =)
after dinner, went over to derry's (chern's friend) house for a game of RISK.
tak pernah main.
ok, we start from 10 or 11 ish....




my troops.




the game killed my brain cells. strategy games....not really my thing.

ended the game around.....4AM-ish. 5 friggin hours?! and it ended 'early' cos we couldnt take it anymore and just simply moved our troops.


slept for 2 hours.
woke up at 7AM or left at 7AM, i cudnt remember. wayne dropped us at penang international airport and off we go!



marks the end of penang.....and all my penang posts! =D

oh, before i forget,
i would like to thank WOO YUEN CHERN for being such a kind soul for being our driver, forking out money for our meals, burning his petrol, being such a cool tour guide, depriving his sleep to entertain us providing awesome accomodation with super comfy beds and bringing us around penang =)

i can never be a better guide than him. HEHEHE.

ok, im running outta ideas to describe our meal.

after heating up in the tram, chern took us for fruit ice.
what is it, u may ask. i didnt know too! first time! =D

oh before that we were ronda-ing jesselton. the place of CHUNTED houses, like OHMAIGOSH, MACAM PALACE! i want one too! cool gardens. can play frisbee and dive there.




fruit ice! not bad. very very healthy. why?





mango, honeydew, pineapple, etc etc etc. u name it. its found UNDER the ice.

after dimsum, we decided to attack the famous penang cendol.

what i like about penang. the western influence in their architecture.




and soo, we met the owner of this humble little shop in penang road. NOT PHUA CHU KANG OR ROSIE LAH DUH. he's d dude in the middle =)




looks like we landed on the best place for cendol.

Pearl of the Orient =Day 2 (Breakfast)

woke up early late the next day.
was suppose to be up around 7-ish for dimsum but ended up leaving @ 8 =)

what you see from the balcony =) made my day.

headed out for breakfast. chern, lynne, wayne and me.

my fave! siumai. super sweet! but nice =)

i heart egg tarts. dis one was DELICIOUS and SWEET.

another fave. SWEET TOO.


oh we had sweet chrysanthemum tea.
wait, did i say sweet?

but it was all good =) yummy.

and so, me and lynne took a flight to penang via air asia.
